Hotel location is very good no doubt it is on some distance to the main market but even then it is more than o.k. service of reception is extremely complimentary. Breakfast is very good.

Hotel was good but was far away from the main market which is very inconvenient since one has to carry luggage without car.

Despite our prepaid booking, there was no availability in this hotel. We were shifted to another hotel 2km far out the city, in an isolated dark area, but we refused to stay there and came back to the first hotel. After 2 hours of insisting, we got a tiny bedroom (insufficient for 3 people) in the hotel.

If one is interested to have a reclusive stay at Darjeeling a bit way far from the maddening rush of the tourist and people want to enjoy the scenic and panoramic view of the town and its suburbs, them the hotel is a perfect getaway. The rooms are good and so is the food. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The ambience is sober and the most delightful parts is the reading materials, the hotel has on its front lobby. Well, a home away from home feeling could be had there. It was a nice time we had spend there.

The rooms should have at least one openable window from where the scenic beauty can see.
