Toshali Sands Reviews, Puri

Although dated and in need of some renovation, the service at this hotel makes it worth the money. The staff makes up for what the accomodation and surroundings cannot. I think this hotel would be best suited to families as opposed to single people, as it is located far from the city center. The rooms are quite nice.

The Toshali Sands hotel claims 4 star status but is not there by a long way. The rooms have been refurbished and are very nice, but they are also very small with storage problems. The rest of the hotels public areas need refurbishment as well. The pool needs retiling and a new filter system as a minimum, the beach which is a long drive away is not very clean and is littered with dead rotting turtles! Other entertainment facilities like Tabletennis bikes and tennis courts are not really functional and need renewing. The hotel is a long way from anywhere and without personal transport or regular large taxi bills you are a bit stuck. The hotel appears to appeal to corperate client events and I could not recommend it for a beach holiday.
