The hotel was appropriate in terms of setup, giving you the 'living in the jungle' feel. However, it lacked in terms of service and food. Nobody answered the internal nos such as housekeeping and there were no food options. In case you did not like the buffet. But the cottage setup still takes the cake, if we discount the food factor.

Only one big problem - no one picks up their housekeeping number. Reception is closed at night and while the Manager's Residence extension is mentioned on the phone in the room, the Manager does not respond to calls made on that number. My grievance is because of the poor service I received when my heater kept on tripping at night and no one to attend and no one to pick up my call. Just imagine if there is an emergency situation!!!

We were very happy with the service provided by Tiger Moon Resort. The food, ambience, cleanliness and staff were really great. We specially valued the service and courtesy extended to us by Mr. Shuklaji, he appeared like a genie whenever anything was needed. Our only grouse was that we were unable to get a safari by jeep but instead got seats on the cantor which is a much more noisy affair. That being said we would definitely chose to visit Tiger Moon again.

Excellent hospitality and personalized attention. Special mention since they arranged for Ranthambore tiger safari on the spot (usually requires earlier booking). Good food especially "Lal Maas".
