The Silver Oaks, Kalimpong

The Silver Oaks was built in 1930 and once belonged to the prominent architect Frederick Desraj who built the old Teesta Bridge. Today, it is a property of the Elgin Heritage Hotels of the Himalayas and offers rooms with antique wall hangings and lithographs as a prominent feature. All the 25 bedrooms are bright and sunny with a magnificent view of the mountains and landscaped gardens.

Dining
The Silver Restaurant serves sumptuous multi cuisine food and can seat one hundred guests. Replete with candle light dinners and tunes from the piano, it can make any evening special. The Oak Bar offers the choicest of cocktails and snacks while the well stocked library is the ideal place to spend a quiet evening.
