Water leakage in room, Pillow, Bed sheet dirty.....

Hotels location is top. Service the people provide makes you feel king.

Hotel was very good, service was excellent.

A decent budget hotel in an excellent location.The hotel has a metro station next to it.

Booked into room on 2nd floor, near stairs and conference room. Staff very noisy moving furniture, etc. Bar/club on 3rd floor had many revellers using stairs when bar closed at midnight with everyone running down stairs making lots of noise. Spoilt my stay. Even reception staff had no interest in customers, so a real shame.

I had visited with my colleague on a business trip in the first week of October 2011 and had chosen this hotel based on the photos and the location. Unfortunately, the hotel was not what we had expected and the service was shoddy to the say the least. The elevators and the rooms are in very poor condition. We were assigned an Executive room which was damp, and the sheets and towels were dirty and were all damp. Despite requesting for a change, there was no improvement. The room service was edible but nothing to talk about. There is a Veg restaurant in the hotel which we did not visit. The only positive thing about the hotel is its location on Church Street which is next to the MG Road metro station. However, the pathway to the MG road is in shambles. We ultimately could not stay in the hotel and had to move elsewhere. Even though the hotel was paid for and we called the hotel to inform them that we had vacated and a minor payment of room service (Rs. 222/-) was pending and would be at the hotel premises at 4 p.m. the next day, we were forced to visit the hotel by 2:30 p.m. or else a half day charge would be applicable. The reception staff was absolutely not cooperative and rude. I would recommend the hotel.

Value of money..

The best part of Hotel Shelton grand was is prominent location right at the center of city which is Brigad/M G Road. The stay here was a very cool and warm stay. Rooms are hygienic and staff is very hospitable. The one problem which I faced the room service staff/Housekeeping were not very comfortable in English and Hindi both. Their Lunch menu is awesome but sorry to say breakfast and dinner was not at all appreciable. One good and rather very important aspect was that hotel provides free internet facility during your entire stay. It may be a matter of chance but the lady at reception was not so prompt in responses to question/serivce I asked. She has to be reminded a lot for that. The hotel has a very good Terrace bar for the people who love to drink and dance. Overall Good and recommended.

Very much centrally located with decent value for money meals and well to do room...perfect for a vacation

This was our 4th stay at Shelton Grand. Services much improved than last time. Excellent location and a safe place to stay with a family. Food is fine but the menu needs to be changed which is being followed for at least 2 years. Hotel needs renovation in near future. Staff, especially at reception and restaurant were very courteous. Definitely will stay here next time also.
