The Samilton is located on a lively main road with easy access to the commercial district of the city. It is 24 kilometres away from the airport and 13 kilometres away from the Howrah railway station.

The Samilton is located on the main road called Sarat Bose Road. This 3 star property is a jazzy looking, brightly coloured, red and black building which cannot be missed. It is over 14 years old and has 5 floors including the ground floor.

Room Amenities
A total of 34 rooms are spread over 4 floors and are divided into 20 Standard rooms, 8 Deluxe rooms, 5 Super Deluxe rooms and 1 Maharaja Suite. The facilities offered in all the rooms are cable television, air conditioning, direct dial STD/ISD telephones, tea/coffee maker, 24 hours room service, minibar and geysers in the washrooms along with basic toiletries. The rooms too are brightly done up in bright and fun colour. The Deluxe room has a wooden bed with a gold and brown cushioned, detached headboard. The furniture is in black and beige with ethnic gold cushions. One wall is peach in colour and adds some lightness to the room. The attached washroom has a shower cubicle, separated with a raised marble slab on the floor. The corridors leading to the rooms are very well lit and alive with colour.

Dining
The dining facilities in the restaurant include Tea Bar which is a terrace restaurant, in the open and is a fun place beside the main road, with a lot happening at any time of the day. Tea, coffee and snacks only are served here. The area has a high rise bar with high rise cushioned bar stools and beautiful plants placed through out the terrace. There is also Pepperchilo which is the multi-cuisine restaurant cum bar and is open from 7:00 am to 11:30 pm. It is furnished with red sofas, cane chairs and green marble top tables. A plasma is mounted on the wall for the entertainment of the guests. Only an a la carte menu is served here.

Banquets & Conferences
The Samilton also has a conference hall which can accommodate 40 persons. It is located in the basement and the hotel does not supply equipment with renting the conference hall. Required equipment needs to be got from elsewhere.
