The Piccadily Reviews, Lucknow

I have been staying with 5 star hotels. This is the first time a 5 star hotel has charged me for pick and drop to airport which is very close to the hotel. Also even the breakfast was not inclusive in the tariff they charged from me.

The Value for Money quoitent for this hotel is very poor, whilst it is rated as a 5 star property and commands a premium per the rating, the question is if it deserves to or not?? I was given a front facing room which actually faced the highway and even at night the traffic noise was a huge disturbance. secondally, the curtains in the room did not cover the full expanse of the window and as the room was front facing throught the night the front facade lights kept illuminating the room. On top of all this the room furnture and bathroom looked too worn out and in dire needs for re-furbishement. overall a very expensive hotel but guess sells due to proximty to the airport.

Hotel is excellent. Room was really very good. Location also is most convenient.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in hotel Piccadily. It is a charming modern hotel in respect to other hotels in Lucknow. Extremely comfortable even in the simple "Executive Room". There was not much of a view but who cares. Isn't a room made for sleeping? Room and The bathroom is well equipped as well a safe and the TV. But the biggest quality of this hotel is in its staff. Amit seems to be working on a morning shift with giving complete satisfaction with a team always attentive to customer wishes. We wish to thank the receptionist team, for their patience, and the quality of their work, always listening to customer with smile and kindness. Poor.

It is a nice hotel the only flaw is that it is way out of town. Not really best suited if you got to work everyday in proper Lucknow but a great place if you can bear with the extra 20 - 30 minutes on the road.

When the first room was allotted, it had ants running all around. Moreover me and my wife visited the place and they offered two separate beds. Then after waiting for an hour, we have been allotted another room but condition was not that good. I was totally disappointed by the service.

Excellet hospitality. Would stay there again the next time too.
