We were not given room in the hotel despite booking 10 days in advance and having room confirmation letter in our hand.

The hotel was excellent. Staff was very co operative. Location is good and spacious. Complete value for money. Gr8 trip. Thank you.

Hotel is quiet far off from the Mall Road. Though room was quiet spacious it was some dingy type of smell and cleanliness was so so. Service was good.

We had a memorable stay at Peterhoff. The spacious lush green lawn in front with a great view of the Shimla hillside was a treat. The restaurant food was very good as was the services at the hotel. Many are not aware that it is adjoining the Himachal Museum, Viceragal Lodge (Now called Institute of Advanced Studies) and a small Bird Park. Take time to explore these and enjoy the walks down to Victory Tunnel and the Mall. Much recommended.

I was not expecting such a good service from a govt. owned hotel. I booked a room there because it was the venue for my conference. But I was surprised to see the good condition of the room, courteous staff and prompt services. Due to some reasons I reached Shimla at 12.30 am in midnight and I was not able to locate the hotel. The staff responded to my call so well that he came a long way to guide me to the hotel.

Room service is poor and staff response is also not satisfactory.

Very uneducated and incompetent front desk. Management leaves much to be desired.
