Peerless Inn is located at Chowringhee on Jawaharlal Nehru Road close to the shopping and business areas. It is just 100 metres from the Esplanade Metro Station, a 10 minutes walk to Eden Gardens and New Market, 45 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the Howrah Railway Station.

Peerless Inn was taken over by Sarovar Properties in 2002. It is now owned by the Peerless Group of Companies but is operated by Sarovar. With 10 floors, this hotel offers a wide variety of facilities ad services to its guests.

Room Amenities
The common facilities in all the rooms are able television, air conditioning, direct dial STD/ISD telephones, wireless internet connection at a charge, minibar, tea/coffee makers, electronic safes, 24 hours room service, 24 hours hot 7 cold running water, bathrobes, magnifying mirrors, shaving points, basic toiletries and more and 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water everyday. One great feature is that local calls from the hotel are completely complimentary. Hairdryers are provided on request in the Superior rooms while they are already present in the Suites. All the rooms also have wall to wall carpeting. The Superior room is a comfortably sized room and is tastefully done up in shades of maroon and brown. The bed has cushioned headboards and in front of it sits a large wooden study table and chair. Beside the bed is a seating space with 2 maroon upholstered armchairs and a wooden base, glass top coffee table.

The Suite is a larger space with two connecting rooms, one being the seating area with a dining table for 3 placed against the wall of windows and the other being a bedroom similar to the Superior rooms. Both the rooms have a minibar in them and the attached washrooms have all the luxuries one would require. The added features in the suites are fruit baskets on arrival, a glass weighing scale and bedroom slippers. The 3rd floor of the hotel is considered the ladies floor. It is a no smoking zone and offers interconnecting rooms for the convenience of ladies traveling together.
