The room ammenities are just not in place.

Booking this hotel was a mistake. It can not be classified as a 5 star place. We had massive disturbances on both the nights just next to our room. Several people totally inebriated making a lot of noise and generally creating a scene. My wife did call the hotel reception but nothing was done. What was inexcusable was that it got repeated despite an assurance to the contrary. In addition, these guests had very questionable ( read call girls) visitors. This was pointed to the duty manager and she accepted though regretted the situation.

Excellent location, excelent room, excellent service. What more can you ask for?

I was given room on 2 floor.The music of the discotheque was so loud that I couldn't sleep, and this was very annoying.

Because of their slow service during checkout, we missed our flight. We were half an hour late just because of the hotel staff.

Room offered to me was very small from the luxury room standards. Bed was facing the door, which is extremely wrong from the vaastu and aesthetic standards. Alternate location of bed was possible. But not done. On being asked to change or upgrade the room, they told that all rooms are booked, which sounds quite unlikely. Service was excellent, no doubt and matched their star rating. My room was pool facing, bt as it was on second floor, every one sitting on pool side, could see my room, which led to invasion of privacy and I had to keep my curtains always closed. The day of my stay was their pool cleaning day, so again during the day time, I had to keep my curtains closed. So, despite Park being a nice hotel, my experience was not very pleasant.

When I checked-in, the room was not ready. They kept me waiting for 30 mins. They have also wrongly billed me and taken more money for services which I have not availed. Though I have spoken and mailed to them yet there's no reply.

No complaints and happy with the services as well.

The Park is one of the best 5 Star properties in Kolkata and that too at a reasonable price. The hotel has 3 fantastic pubs Someplace Else, Tantras & Roxanne where you can really freak out. The gymnasium & swimming pool is well maintained. The staff are extremely courteous. Would definitely recommend The Park in Kolkata to everyone.
