Orchha resort is a gem hidden among chatris of Orcha. Its picturesque settings, sprawling lawns and tented accommodation are bliss from the maddening city life. Guests are welcomed by a flute singer, thatÂ’s unique. All the rooms are facing poolside.The lawn gives the best view of Betwa. Food is tempting. Good housekeeping, courteous and helpful staff. For our evening strolls hotel arranged a colorful auto taxi.They have a small lawn with swings for toddlers.Local folk artists sing and dance in evening at lawns. Its Kairali spa-shirodharara treatment is recommended. For my early morning train they gave me breakfast at 3 am and made excellent arrangements.

The hotel is in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk to the village centre. It is clean and perfectly placed for a weekend break. The staff offer a great service and are very friendly, my only recommendation would be to create a better atmosphere in the restaurant, the food was fantastic (a la carte) but the ambience needs a little attention (too light, maybe some tea lights and some music). The friendly waiter and reception staff made us feel very welcome and this is a great example of a high end 3 star European hotels.

Housekeeping could be more prompt.
