The Meadows Resort Reviews, Aurangabad

The only flaw we found was that our bathroom drainage was not good, which we did inform the hotel manager, so that future guests benefit from it. Otherwise, we (including 2 Canadian visitors) were very satisfied with the experience. Its a very quiet well kept place, with very cooperative and helpful service, with the manager, Mr Dheeraj, doing whatever to make our stay comfortable. He also arranged a good vehicle and very nice driver, Mr Vishnu, for us for the usual Ellora- Ajanta excursions spread over 2 days. Overall, we were all very satisfied.

The Meadows Resort is a fabulous respite fromthe hectic pace of India. After two long days of exploring the caves we enjoyed a relaxing poolside dinner. While the buffet is fairly standard the actual menu has a wealth of choices. We paired Indian Curry and dal with a delicious pineapple rice. Elora and Ajunta Caves are spectacular and to return to the peaceful gardens of Meadows Resort provided the energy to continue exploring.

Great ambience, lots of open space and greenery. Really a good change for city dwellers. Far from the city centre and hotel provides no transport.

No mobile signal available in the hotel area. This is a major drawback.
