Location
The Lake Resort is situated at Naukuchiatal in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The nearest airport is located at Pantnagar, approximately 70 km away and the nearest railhead is Kathgodam Railway Station, about 35 km away.

Situated in three different blocks - Main, Middle Court and Hunting Lodge, The Lake Resort offers comfortable accommodation in its 25 spacious bedrooms which are divided into 23 Deluxe Double bedrooms (all facing the lake), one Suite (living room and one bedroom) and one Log Hut. While staying at the resort, guests can get a panoramic view of the lake from the large bay windows and verandahs.
Common in-room amenities include cable television, intercom facility and hot and cold water in the attached washroom. For the comfort of guests, room service is also available.
Dining
The multi-cuisine restaurant 'The Orchid Cafe' offers an a la carte menu to cater individual tastes and preferences. The restaurant serves Indian, Continental, Chinese and Mughlai cuisines, in a perfect ambience. Special Kumaoni food is also served to guests on request. In addition to this, the resort has an outdoor barbeque shack for dining.

For conferences, business meetings and related events, the resort has two fully-equipped conference halls that can accommodate around 120 guests.

The location is excellent. One can have the view of the lake from each room. The boating station is within walking distance. The quiet and serene atmosphere is a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of the city. The food served is of good quality and variety. All this along with the good service and courteous staff made our stay memorable. Will definitely visit again and the place is highly recommended.
