Over 125 years ago, a migrant farmer chanced upon a beautiful place. Due to the extremely fertile land and abundance of water, he and his fellow mates settled here and named this place Kyari, which means a small fertile piece of land full of flora and fauna. The Kyari, a resort here offers comfortable accommodation and quality service to all its guests.

Hotel Facilities
The Kyari offers a whole range of outdoor activities like body surfing, rappelling, trekking, mountain biking, river crossing, bird watching, wildlife safaris, team building exercises and indoor games like chess, carom, snooker etc. Besides this, guests can busy themselves with less adventurous but nevertheless thrilling activities like riding a bullock cart, interacting with the local craft persons, sampling local cuisines, participating in village festivals and songs, staying under thatched roofs in mud huts or just relaxing in the solitude at the Chaupal or spending the evenings under the starlit skies listening to the sounds of the jungle.

The Kyari is located at Gram Kyari at Ramnagar in the Nainital district in Uttaranchal.

Please note: It is always advisable to book safaris prior to arrival, especially during weekends as there are only 60 vehicles allowed inside the National Park at a time. Depending on the no. of guests, the estimated cost of safari vehicles will be between Rs 2600- Rs 3000. Guests can directly contact the hotels and book their safaris.

If you require the hotel to book a jungle safari for you, please provide details of all guests (Guest name / ID number (Passport / Driving License / Pan Card) / Age / Nationality) at the time of hotel booking to facilitate timely booking of the safari.

Room Amenities
The Kyari offers 3 kinds of accommodation: rooms on twin sharing basis, Family Suites and a dormitory. All the rooms here are cosy with the ambience of a typical village room. Beds, a table and storage cabinets adorn the room with an attached bathroom with hot and cold water supply. The Suites are ideally designed for families and have 2 bedrooms each with a private balcony and an attached bathroom with hot and cold water supply. The dormitory is a huge hall with single beds placed in a row and is ideals for larger groups.
