Location
Hotel Holiday Home is located on Cart Road, near the lift, 23 kilometres from the Jubbarhati airport, 2 kilometres from the railway station and half a kilometre from the bus station.

Hotel Holiday Home is a part of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. It is a magnificent piece of land spreading over a few acres and lies away from the hustle bustle of Shimla.

Rooms
The hotel has a total of 69 rooms. There are 7 Luxury Rooms, 15 Super Deluxe Rooms, 10 Cosy Deluxe Rooms, 15 Deluxe Rooms, 14 Semi Deluxe Rooms, 2 Regular Rooms, and 6 Economy Rooms. The rooms are quaint areas with all the necessities available like a cupboard, dressing table and stool and a seating area. The Luxury Rooms are larger in size and exhibition a more spacious seating area. All rooms have attached bathrooms which are spacious and tidy. While most of the bathrooms rooms have shower cubicles the Super Deluxe Bathrooms have tubs. The rooms have cable television, telephones, 24 hour running hot and cold water and 24 hour room service.

Please note that room heaters are provided at an extra cost.

Dining
There are 3 dining facilities offered at the hotel. The Captain's Cabin Bar is a dimly lit area and has a semi circular marble slab. A fine selection of wines and spirits are offered here. There is the multi cuisine restaurant called Fancy Fair which is innovatively and tastefully done up with an overhead shack at one of the tables. The Coffee Shop is a hot favourite amongst the guests and is open 24 hours.

Other services and facilities offered are a cyber cafe, acceptance of credit cards, laundry, a gift shop, billiards, car on rent, photocopier, doctor on call, video games for children, booking of local sight seeing by HPTDC buses and taxis, instant booking of other HPTDC hotels, spacious parking and an elevator in the main building.

The hotel widely caters to business travelers and large groups for official and recreational meetings, gatherings and get togethers. There are 5 conference and banquet rooms. The New Regency Hall can accommodate a total of 400 people, the Old Regency Hall with 200 people, the Dragon Hall with 80 people and Executive Lounge 1 and 2 with a maximum of 20-25 people.
