The Hideaway River Lodge, Corbett

The Hideaway River Lodge is located in the Jamun area of Corbett. It is located 5 km inside the core jungle area of the National Park, which is accessed through the Durgadevi Gate. It is 15 km from Corbett Hideaway, and is reached by crossing the river Ramganga on a raft. The nearest airport to Corbett is Pantnagar, 133 km away. The nearest railhead and bus stand is Ramnagar, 50 km away. New Delhi is 260 km away by road.

Please note, there is no electricity at the resort, and illumination is provided by solar-powered and kerosene lanterns.

The Hideaway River Lodge offers a range of facilities and activities its guests, including: an air-conditioned conference hall (seating capacity in theatre style: 350 persons), angling, jeep safari, elephant safari, bird safari, nature walk, as well as recreation facilities such as table tennis, badminton, beach volleyball, beach cricket, archery, chess & carom.

Please note: It is always advisable to book safaris prior to arrival, especially during weekends as there are only 60 vehicles allowed inside the National Park at a time. Depending on the no. of guests, the estimated cost of safari vehicles will be between Rs 2600- Rs 3000. Guests can directly contact the hotels and book their safaris.

The 10 Swiss Cottage tents at The Hideaway River Lodge are comfortable and spacious, complete with modern amenities such as solar powered lanterns, verandas, and attached western style bathrooms with hot and cold running water. Hot water bottles are available in the beds at night. Tents are available in Deluxe and Superior categories.

The Hideaway River Lodge has an excellent multi-cuisine thatched roof restaurant "Gol Ghar" that offers guests an interactive culinary experience, and serves them a wide variety of delicious and wholesome dishes.
