Everything is good except the communication. Hotel management did not inform me about the continental breakfast. I am still not sure whether they provide free continental breakfast or not. I heard that any hotel which is 3 star or above will provide the breakfast. If it is available there I missed it. I felt sorry for my ignorance, not prepared what I am getting.

Like any other Taj hotel, the Gateway was a great hotel, the staff was courteous and gave useful inputs whenever needed. The room, restaurant and the rest of the hotel was fantastic.

The hotel was great, but I wish breakfast would have been included with the cost of my room. I have travelled to many hotels in India and most provided breakfast. In addition, the pool water appeared to be rather unclear and contained algae. Besides that everything was great.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The view of Taj from the room was amazing. The restaurants were very good as was the overall service. But this hotel is rather old and the room we stayed in had a rank odour, after the room freshener (rose) wore off after a few minutes. We had to sleep through the stale odour. But for this, it was a good stay for us.

It is a costly lodge not a five star hotel, For a tooth brush you have to ask, for a shaving kit you have to ask, You dont have tele-phone directory which can guide to hotel service, horryfying, At late night i could not contact the room service.
