Excellent hotel/ staff / service / planning of facilities / outstanding food despite us being pure veggies [a rare event in goa] @ the 'harbour bay' restaurant!
highly recommended for those who want to live like a king right in the heart of panjim & be well connected to all parts of goa via buses / cabs / etc.

This hotel is simply amazing in their presentability and customization of services to suit a customer's need. They were proactive to identify that we are a honeymoon couple and made surprising arrangements. The location and infrastructure of the hotel is very romantic and soothing. I would strongly recommend this hotel to all my friends. These guys are the best.

The room was nothing special, the spa was not high quality, no good food options (1 restaurant which was not well stocked) and the pool was adequate. The redeeming features were the great staff, everybody from the front desk to the cleaners were smiling and helpful and the smart new casino which has an assortment of semi-automated games.

1) The booking was done via make my trip but, when we contacted the hotel was confirmation around 3 days prior to the check in, they mentioned that they are not aware of the booking.
2) While we checked in (much later than the hotel recommended check in times) the room was not ready and we were asked to wait till it gets ready
3) The location on the hotel is good, its in mid city.
4) The view from the harbour cafe is nice
5) Food served is of nice quality and tastes well. However, would say much costly.There are many cheap restaurants around which serve that good food.
6) The TV remote was Barely working. and hence means the hospitality needs a bit more attention.
7) Travel desk guy is rarely at his place.
8)The staff was ok, But can be much better, eg, they did not know the details of an event which was going to happen at the hotel
9) Be careful for the billing, since in our case some minor things were charged extra.
Overall good experience, but could be much much better.

The hotel let us down at the start. I was travelling with a young family & had mailed the hotel to confirm our room booking & request the free pick up from the airport. I received a confirmation email from the hotel.
On arriving at the airport no car was waiting and no one bothered to pick up the hotel helpline number. We had to pay for a taxi to take us to the hotel.
On arrival at the hotel they did not have our booking - luckily I had my booking confirmation with me so the hotel found us a room - not hard since the hotel was nearly empty.
This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
The hotel tried to make up for the poor start by bumping us up to a superior room. The room was adequate in size but the wardrobe was tiny - just about room for 5 hanging garments. The bathroom and toilet was also cramped. Dread to think what a regular room would have been like.
The saving grace was the hotel food. We ate at the hotel most days and were impressed with the food and prices.

This is by far the worst 5* hotel I've ever stayed in. Nothing in service worked on the first attempt. Hygiene and cleanliness leave a lot of room for improvement in both, rooms and public areas (have you ever had mold in the juice carafe's cap at breakfast or literally brown hot water to prepare your tea? No? - just go there). Staff is sometimes willing but not trained (housekeeping is systematically calling the rooms to find one of the maids - instead of just going around and look for her, can't be that difficult in a house with 50 rooms. Would be much better than embarrassing all the people who've been called). Better go to a nice beach hotel, pay some bucks extra - you'll have a much better time than with a frequent discussion with amateurs who'll certainly not learn soon.
