The Central Park , Pune

The Central Park is a modern hotel in Pune. The lobby is vast and has high ceilings. The sitting area comprises low lying wooden benches attached to the wall. These benches are cushioned with multi colours and are supported with equally multi coloured lights and an abstract painting on the wall behind the reception, which is on the opposite side of the sitting area.

The Central Park hotel is located just next to the INOX theatre in Bund Garden in Pune. The airport is about 7 kilometres away, railway station 0.5 kilometres away and the city centre is 2 kilometres away from the hotel.

Hotel Facilities
The Central Park hotel has three Conference Halls, one on the first floor, one on the Mezzanine floor and one on the rooftop. Pavilion, on the first floor is the biggest and can accommodate up to 250 people in theatre style seating. An adjoining terrace serves as buffet meals/tea or snacks area. A staircase leading from this terrace takes you to the second conference room with a seating capacity of 20-25 people, with a rear lobby entrance. Park View is the third conference hall on the rooftop decorated with plants, sparkling star like floors and sliding doors. On the rooftop itself, next to the Smoke on the Water is the beautiful swimming pool with lounge chairs surrounding it.

Room Amenities
The Central Park hotel offers 3 types of rooms - Suites, Smart Space rooms and Superior rooms. The division of the rooms is on the basis of facilities: the Smart Space and Suite rooms have complimentary Wi Fi in the rooms. The Smart Space room wears a colourful and trendy look and offers a range of modern amenities like a tea/coffee maker, writing table, side chair and table, an extra sitting space, cupboard, phone, satellite television, mirror, cabinet, electronic safe and a chargeable mini bar with snacks. The attached bathroom has a tub, bath robe, slipper, shower gel, moisturizer, talcum powder, hair wash, shower cap, dental kit, facial tissues etc a condiments. The Suite room has bean bags for sitting and a separate drawing-dining and bedroom area. The furnishing in the Suite is sleek and in designer style and the flooring is done partially in wood and partially in marble. The bedroom is similar to Smart Space rooms and has wooden furniture. The Suite is done in themes like Zen, Indian etc. The Superior room is of the same size as the Smart Space rooms, but has no tea coffee maker and hair dryer. The room has lesser amenities too. Besides these, electronic vaults and weighing scales are provided in every room.

Dining
At the far end of the lobby lies the restaurant cum snack bar, Time After Time with a seating capacity of 74 people. The restaurant serves buffet lunch everyday and is based on a theme, which changes every month. There is an interconnecting bar called the Zanzi Bar (capacity 32 persons) with bright coloured walls and lights to give it a happy feel. The partly covered glass door and walls are adorned with glass paintings. The bar serves quality international and domestic liquors from evening into the night. Smoke on the Water is a 38 cover rooftop bar-be-que and grill restaurant, open only in the evenings from 7:30 pm onwards.
