Good hotel total value for your money and it is just beautiful but the staff can have little smile on there faces otherwise the service was good.

Very nice rooms and balcony. Staff is very helpful. You can ask for cycle. Aquaguard water available. Hot drinking water available. Food is average. Resort people order it from outside after our order. Auto available at reasonable price to go around town and bird sanctuary. Dont take the Ayurvedic massage suggested. The Ayurvedic places in Kumarkom town are not so good. Hotel needs to have a good sign board on the road. It is difficult to locate without asking people.

This was last destination on my hooneymoon trip and really was a refreshing one. Tharavadu Heritage Home is a well developed and maintained property. Cottages are built maintaining the heritage of traditional kerela house and provides all modern amenities. Kumarakom has lot of high budget resorts facing the beatiful Vembnad lake Water front, but Tharavadu is definately a value for money option. I reached the hotel 6 hours before the check-in time and hotel staff was extremely co-operative to let me check-in without any extra charges. As there are not many activities to do in kumarakom, this is a paradise for travellers who want to spend quality time with there loved ones. The only drawback of the hotel was food. We had our breakfast here and it was really bad. Also options are very limited. We had our lunch and dinner in other nearby hotel where more options were available. Hotel owner is a friendly person and he gave me some nice tips to go for sunset on lake front.

Really nice location and good customer service.

With shadowy trees and natural surroundings, the environment of the hotel was very good.The hotel room-the bamboo cottage, where we stayed was very nice. The staff were very courteous, helpful and gave good tips regarding visiting the interesting places. However the restaurant arrangement and service requires some improvement.

We had very good experience at Tharavadu Heritage Hotel. Service is good.
