TarikaÂ’s Jungle Retreat is a nice property with some awesome cottages and suites. The service is courteous. The layout is quite impressive. The surrounding mountains and valleys make it ideal for a quite holiday. The approach road needs to be repaired as it was in pretty bad shape. The television at reception was poor. They need a much better DTH/cable connection. Quality of food and room service is excellent. The jungle theme is very much visible everywhere in the resort which is quite impressive. Unfortunately the day my wife and me stayed on the property there was a conference of some hundred odd people. They were all males and the party was organized in the restaurant so we felt out of place so we could not enjoy going to the restaurant or the disco. Also the indoor pool they have, was not filled on that day. On the whole we could have much more fun if we had chosen a better date to be there. I hope next time we go there will be a perfect holiday.

The hotel is excellent with its location, service and specially food. My stay was very pleasant although I was with 2 kids of 17 months but I didn't have any problems from the hotel's side with the meals. Overall, excellent hotel, specially the food.
