I had booked a non-air conditioned room since my stay was only for 5 hours. However, I realised that the room size is very small and ventilation inadequate. Even though fan was there, there was no wind throw, making the stay very uncomfortable.

Hotel location is ok. Service is very poor. Difficult to get even the hot water in washroom.

The receptionist was not aware of all the details of our reservation when we checked in, but he was quick to adjust and upgrade us to a deluxe Air-conditioned Suite to meet our needs. Unfortunately this room had too many mosquitoes and we were just not able to sleep all night. This spoiled our mood during the trip. Room service was good and the staff was quite helpful and prompt.

12 pm check-in 12pm checkout concept is too ridiculous. I had booked Deluxe AC room, and they gave me a suite with Deluxe price. When I check-in. take note during this time there is no rule applicable like, management reduce employees salary etc. but when request for adjustment of second day charges, Mr.Ashok is saying that, if he do adjustment, then management will cut-off his salary. This is too worst to using this kind of words with customers. I had booked for 13th August, but due to my flight delay, I had check-in at 8pm instead of 12pm, so they are commenting that late check-in is your problem. There is no preference to customer and even they did not inform to me during my check-in. Every where in country had a 24hours concept. Especially staff (Mr.Ashok) the way he speaking is non-sense. I strongly recommend not to go to this hotel.

Hotel Suriya International is very conveniently located near Pondy bazaar in T Nagar. I stayed in a Standard Air-conditioned Room, which was clean, comfortable and quieter than I expected. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was undergoing renovations but room service was prompt & delicious. Internet access and the laundry service were unreliable.

A weird, unusual location is what is especially striking. Accessing the hotel is quite like a game of hide and seek. The hotel is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of a multi-storeyed shopping complex. There is a staircase, but it has been blocked using old sofas! You take the lift to the lobby on the 4th floor, check in and walk down to the 3rd floor (sorry, no lift!) where your room is. If this seems to be confusing enough, wait. The best is yet to come. If you have to go to the ground floor, first walk up to the 4th floor and take the lift straight to the ground floor. Perplexing, indeed. However, the gentleman at the reception was very helpful.

The hotel denied the complimentary breakfast that was promised in the reservation. The staff kept haggling for second day payment though we had informed that booking was done through MakeMyTrip only the senior manager was knowledgeable enough to accommodate us.

Hotel was not so good. Food was not good. Rooms do not have locker. Washrooms are not in good condition as per the Deluxe Room.

Actually, it's located only on 3/4 floor of the commercial building. We had problem in locating the entrance.
