Sunshine Beach Resort Reviews, Goa

SBR is not a resort, not a hotel, it is some kind of shady and dingy place. Do they know the meaning of Resort? The rooms were dirty, washrooms were more dirty than rooms, torn bed sheets, holes in mattress, ants, cockroaches, mosquitoes, fused lights, Super Deluxe Room with no TV, 3 inch of dirt across the room, rude staff ( take it or leave it attitude) , sad management, under the bed sheet was a food bill of some restaurant of other guests dated 04th February ( That means the room was not cleaned at all), worst pool, restaurant & rooms managed by two different owners, hence payment of everything on the spot even room service.

Not Satisfactory . Hotel was not clean and services were bad .

Hotel maintenance was average.

I am not satisfied with this hotel.

Very pathetic rooms, stinking bathrooms, no water most of the time, very poor standard of the room, no hot water.

Room not available on arrival. A temporary room was provided without additional bed as requested. On persistent demand, provided a dirty mattress / sunbed. Rooms dirty, towels dirty. AC not maintained.

Location is one of the major plus points and thats the only great point about this hotel. Goa is not a hospitable place anymore, especially to locals which is understandable. Sunshine beach is no exception. Do not make any requests like getting into the pool before/after the stipulated time or asking to check in 1 hour before the scheduled time. The staff is out right rude with the exception of one waiter. There were lizards in our room and the hot-cold mixer was a pain. No toilet paper, no soap and no spray wash. The food in the restaurant is ok and its "Pure Veg". The pool is average size and the pool side TV is very small. All and all Not good value for money as you can get "rooms" right next to the beach at half that price.

Not a good place to stay. Food was ok but room condition was bad, staffs at hotel are not friendly at all.

The house keeping of the room is very poor. Even the TV was without remote. In the morning there was no water in the bathroom.

Bad experience.
