Not satisfactory.Rooms are not maintained properly.No tv no intercom facility.

Location is nice but maintenence is poor.

Nice location for the hotel, food is good, services are okay, staff friendly. Not suitable for older people access to rooms required climbing up and down stairs.

I have been to yercaud many a times with my friends and family, as I live in salem, but this visit was the best just because of the location of the hotel and the amazing views it had to offer, you donÂ’t need to go to any viewing points as you just have to open the windows. The food is good though room service is delayed.

We had the worst experience of our lifetime here. Firstly we went at 11am to checkin and Mr. Kumar and Ms. Anshika at reception made us wait till 1pm saying rooms are getting cleaned. Later they provided us a standard room instead of superior room, while the rooms with better facilities and views were reserved. Also the room was very unclean and floor, door knob, electric sockets were all broken. Towels were brown in colour. No dining table or kitchennet or wifi internet. Even when I asked for their manager, there was no one present and also no one came to ask our concerns until I caught one of them at the time of checkout but even he didnt do anything much.

Our roomes got ready at 3pm which is 3 hrs later than the scheduled time of 12.00 hrs.

I had the most pathetic experience in Sterling Yercaud... Firstly, they gave me a standard room when I had booked for Junior Suite and once I shouted at them then they came back saying that there was some miscommunication between their corporate team. The junior suite was nothing but a larger standard room. The fan and lights were not working and I have to call reception 4 times before it was fixed after 2 hrs. The room was unclean and smelly and there was water logging in the bathroom. No lift access hence it was painful to walk to reach reception or restaurant. Food was also of low quality and less variety. The standard of service is really low and I would not recommend anyone to this resort. I stayed in GRT Nature Trails (Yercaud) and had an excellent experience. I had visted previously visted Sterling property in Ooty which was good however Sterling Yercaud is a black spot among all the Sterling Resorts.

The hotel has a great location, overlooking the hills and the plains below. The view of clouds moving in and out is fantastic. The hotel structure though is not friendly for old people and people with physical disability. The checkout procedure needs to be made more efficient.

Smelly room, dirty floor, stained chairs, not the standard of cleanliness one would expect. Too expensive.
