Sterling Holidays -Fern Hill Reviews, Ooty

It was amazing experience with Sterling Holiday. We enjoyed a lot.

The hotel shares a lovely location. A very good view of Ooty is possible. The hotel landscape is also very good. There is a nice grass ground with tables, chair and swings to play around with family. Food is tempting. The serving staff is well mannered. Variety of menu every day. No repeated dishes. Travel desk and holiday planning is also systematic. There is one Mr. John who gives good opinions about places to visit nearby Ooty. He arranges for the cabs also. However, the room toilet/bathroom was not in a good condition. May be it is just in the room where I stayed. The room has a wonderful windows with glasses. Very nice layout of the room. On the billing side, the hotel charges for the day even for an extra 4 hours of stay. All the staff is well mannered and extremely good service.I recommend staying here. Just check the bathroom fittings once before.

Expectations not to the mark .

The hotels standard room doesn't have balcony or a kitchenette or open sit out. But the hotel staff guys were sensitive to this disappointment and made their best in terms of complimentary and when I decided to stay one additional night due to the overall experience, they also gave the same charges make my trip offered me. Overall a memorable trip. I would say, be it make my trip, the hotel or the value for money component. All fell in place.

Too far away. Very difficult to access in the night.

Very Good Location. One of my first hotel in Tourist location of India. Pleased with the quality I received within my budget. I would certainly rate this as 3 Star of US Standards.

Food is very bad especially Non veg, Housekeeping and maitenanace is poor

It was nice experience to stay in Sterling Holidays. Enough parking space. Restaurant is reasonably good, responsible staffs.

The hotel is located a few km outside of town, which makes it quiet. We also took a great walk through a nearby eucalyptus forest in the evening which was fantastic. There was a lot of exterior work going on so it appears the hotel is being upgraded. Our room was clean, but is in need of upgrading - especially the carpet. Overall, it was a good value although the prices in the restaurant and room service were high in comparison to other places.

Awesome Location! Food Quality need to be worked on.. Quite place to relax and many on-board activities to enjoy!!
