Solang Valley Resort - Welcome Heritage, Manali

Tucked away at 1.926 metres on the northern edge of the Kullu valley, the Solang Valley Resort is a pretty place surrounded by rugged snow capped peaks and a long undulating road towards the Rohtang Pass. The other side is flanked by the gushing River Beas. Around 4 kilometres away from the main Manali market, this place is an ideal halt for people who love to stay away from the noise and congestion of everyday life. Probably this is why it is such a popular place for honeymooners, trekkers and the foreign hippies.
The Bhuntar airport is 49 kilometres away and the Chandigarh railway station about 280 kilometres away. The main town of Manali is 15 kilometers from here.

Hotel Facilities
The recreation room is massive, with carom, chess, table tennis and pool table to engage you full time. Besides this, there is a basketball court where you can sweat it out with the warm sun on your back. There are mountain bikes as well, so adventure lovers can venture out and explore the beautiful mountain valley on their own.

Room Amenities
Like a house perched on top of a hill, this resort offers 43 rooms divided into Deluxe rooms, Superior Deluxe rooms, Maharaja Suite and Presidential Suite. While the 33 Deluxe rooms can be divided into valley, river and glacier facing rooms, the Superior rooms open to the river and Suites open to the overpowering mountain ranges. The Deluxe categories of rooms have facilities such as a satellite television, direct dial telephones, cupboards, drinking water, tea and coffee maker, attached bathroom with running hot and cold water and basic bathroom amenities. An additional feature of the Superior Deluxe rooms is that they have an extra space for sitting in the room. The Maharaja and Presidential Suites are bigger consigns with separate living cum dining areas and an additional bedroom. The Suites have two bathrooms each, one attached with the living room and one with the bathroom.

Dining
The Malana Bar is a very cowboy kind of a place with rustic wooden floors and ceilings and wooden seating. The bar has a wide range of domestic and international liquor and a variety of wines. The wall is unusually adorned with wooden masks of different shapes and sizes. The hotel has a multi-cuisine restaurant.
