Hotel service was done after 30 - 40 min. Of anything asked for the same. Room was full of house flies and other seasonal insects and even asked to spray some insect killer to room service but they didnt do anything. Torn bedsheets was used even after asking them to change , they bring torn bedsheets. Only +ve thing in the hotel in restaurent, i can say meal was excellent.

Very costly as compared to services.

Though hotel rooms are good, they were never cleaned properly even after complaining to the Hotel management. A fly was also found in food served by the hotel for which the complaint was made. Hotel room service is pathetic.

Amazing service, amazing view from the room, amazing food quality. All in all, best place to stay if you are planning a visit to Dalhousie. Will recommend it to everyone. Thanks for making our trip memorable.

This is one of the costliest hotel in Dalhousie and we booked this as we were impressed by their hotel in Manali. The location is good, being near the Gandhi Chowk, but view from hotel is not impressive. We booked Maharaja Corner, as we were told by hotel staff, that this is the biggest room in hotel and is suitable for a family of four. However, we found that all rooms are of equal size, and there is no advantage of being a 'corner' room, as it has the same window, like any other room. No tub in washroom, nor the exhaust, so it stinks all the time. A small geyser, so you have to wait for half an hour, before next person takes the bath. Most disappointing is quality of food. Menu repeated on the third day. Basic facilities like newspaper, internet is not available. No gymnasium, no pool or anything else. Housekeeping is poor. The sheets and towels were not changed. Given two towels when they charged us for 4. Overall avoid this hotel. Total wastage of money.

The hotel location and rooms are excellent. Moreover the quality of food and the preparation is excellent. Thus the overall experience is good and value for money.

The hotel is no doubt well located and the rooms are spacious. We had two Maharaja Corner rooms from where the view of the valley was spectacular. The food was decent as well. What really spoilt the fun for us was the perpetually stinking washrooms. So much so that we had to ask the reception to allocate us other rooms. They hastily sprayed deodorant which did not solve anything. For the price that we paid for these rooms this kind of situation is unacceptable. The toilet bowl was dirty in room, it probably had not been cleaned when the previous occupant left. There were half filled bottles of beer left in the cupboard who no one had bothered to remove. There was a particular corner of the terrace where you just could not stand due to the stench. Overall we had a rather stinking experience in this hotel. They donÂ’t have a proper waste management system in place. The staff were so loud while talking to each other that you could hear them with your door shut and the television on. Not worth the price.

Food quality and room services were under average. Hot water is very inadequate. Blankets and room heater not up to the mark at all. Just one caretaker was seen doing everything. Breakfast was served cold and had to be requested to be heated many times. Cups used for tea/coffee were just dipped in water and not cleaned properly. The hotel was stinking at many places. Other than the location, this property cannot be recommended until they go for a compete turnaround in all areas of customer satisfaction, specially when temperatures are very-very low.

1. Hotel fare is too high. 2. Wall of hotel is very thin. On first night of stay I was unable to sleep because of snoring of persons from other rooms. 3. You feel the room heater only if you are in front of heater. Other part of room does not at-all get warm.
