Rooms have ventilation problem and there was shortage of water too.

Second year that we return to same hotel. A small family run hotel. November chill no problem with good electric stoves. However, depending on which room you get you might not have hot water, please check as you arrive. I will defenitely return to same hotel once again.

While hotel staff was extremely courteous, helpful and well behaved , they could not make up for lack of some amenities. The hotel should improve on: Room lighting, cupboard space inadequate. Bathroom toiletries absent,no restaurant.Difficult if travelling with a child. Extremely limited breakfast choices. Approach road is very dirty and dark. Charges exorbitantly for local car hire.

One of the best homestays I have been to, the family who lived there were so kind and helpful in every way possible, i am a single traveler and they made me part of the family. Loved my stay.

Out of three rooms which we booked, two were rather small. In the room there was no rack to keep our suitcases. The hotel management and service was very good.

They kindly welcomed me as soon as I walked in. The location was good; the interiors were exotic, and clean. It had all the basic amenities necessary for a good stay. Service was personal, and it is a great value for the money. I will stay there again.

The Hotel is painted in lovely teak wood brown color and bright well lit rooms and excellent furniture. I am very pleased at the services offered by them. They are the most honest and loving people I have ever encountered. May God bless them. I will always stay at Snow Lion whenever I go to Darjeeling.
