Hotel is friendly and well positioned in West Khar. The restaurant is good for evening meals.

Take a building, paint it in some bright colours, engage a couple of blokes to man the desk, and there you have a hotel? I'm afraid that won't do. Shubhangan is nicely located in a cozy corner of Khar, close to the sea, and almost at the periphery of the fishermen's dwellings. So far the story is interesting. After all, I am visiting and would love have a compact dwelling from where I can tour the suburbs - especially Juhu. But wait a minute, can we talk about the service, yes that's a stink. There is no enthusiasm, no excitement, no warmth - just plain desk talk, how odd for the hospitality industry! If it were not so farcical, it would be tragic. The electronic door key won't work, and they won't replace it. I had to seek their help every time I had to enter the room. The room is decent, but imagine how much better the whole experience could have been? Between, there is no hook to hang one's clothes in the washroom while we take a shower, except for a coat hanger. Overall - average.

Good value for money. Very friendly staff. Near to Linking Road shopping places. Quiet neighbourhood. I liked it.
