Very small property at a bad location so feels like you are stuck in your 0.5 acres. Tents and food is OK but nothing great to compensate for size of the property. Now the worst part...no desire to take care of customer interest. I was told I don't need to book safari in advance even though I called 2 weeks in advance. When I got there, I did not get a jeep as desired and even for canter I had to pay twice as much as I could have paid for a jeep had I booked online. They were just interested in their fat commission on safari. Very avoidable

The hotel management charged excessively on the other services compared to what they informed verbally. And when it was complaint, the attitude and behaviour was not good. Food quality was not at all good.

Sher Camp has a good concept, luxury tents near the entrance to the reserve. The problems are however, numerous. The tents are on nice grounds but right next to a busy road so the noise is quite bad and the first night there were dogs barking all night long. Since you are in a tent, the noises are as if they were in the room with you. The tents are very close together so you hear everything that goes on in the tents to either side of you. They have an extensive menue, the trouble is that they don't have many of the items listed on the menue. They have a dinner menue but only the set menue is available. We ate there 3 times and never got what we ordered. The worst thing was that they never told us that they did not have what we had ordered until after they had started serving us the starters. You might get a salad or soup and then the rest of the meal would never come and when you asked about the rest of the order, they would just say it wasn't available with no other explanation.

The hotel lacks on the following: 1. The overall ambiance is just OK, I wanted to stay in a huge property with lush gardens and great views where I can relax but this hotel has just a small lawn. 2. Poor service/no attention to detail: While booking the hotel I thought since it was a new property the staff will try hard to please the guests but to the contrary the manager seemed mostly un-bothered the geyser in our room was not working the manager just took it very lightly and we had to get it fixed a few times and still it didnÂ’t work and finally we had to change our tent but in the entire process the manager never seemed bothered. The next day we told our manager to book an excursion at 9:00 am but again no attention to detail and irresponsible behavior on his part he came knocking at 8:00 am and argued that he had confirmed the time for 8:00 am I was pissed off. The hotel does not have intercom the staff doesnÂ’t bother if you need anything you have to hunt for them using your mobile.
