Dadar houses a residential complex, silk hub and wholesale fruit and vegetable market. The Shivaji Park, a playground is located here, where the likes of Sachin Tendulkar practice cricket.
Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, formerly Sahar International Airport, is spread over an area of 1450 acres, and is Indias biggest international and domestic aviation hub. The domestic terminal is in Santacruz.
