I booked a standard room at the hotel and the room was exactly like that on their website, clean. modern, hot running water with ac, newspaper delivery every morning etc. Hotel staff were very hospitable and the food at the restaurant was delicious. However, I did cribb about the mushroom soup being too sweet, they tried to amend it to my taste and didn't charge for my soup. They think highly on customer satisfaction. My only suggestion would be that the have tea/coffee facility in the room. Highly recommended for everyone.

Hotel location is little remote. The room was small (we were 2 adults and 2 kids) but nice. Excellent breakfast made our day. The services were excellent.

Shantai is a good hotel with very good room conditions & services. It is a real value for money. I would like to stay again in that hotel.
