1. 1st room was filled with bedbugs and we could not sleep the 1st night including my 8 month old baby. Also the taps in the toilet was only giving boiling hot water and no cold water. Room service is horrible and the bearers of the restaurant are very abusive, rude and courteous to customers. 2. The second room we shifted to the a/c was not working and in spite of repeated calls to reception they did not bother to fixity. Also the toilet was leaking and was flooded with water on the floor all the time. Same complaints for the people who do the room service in bringing food orders. 3. I had opted for the package that included lunch or dinner and was surprised to hear that they will not bring the food to the room and we have to go to the restaurant to eat. I have a 8 month old daughter and it is difficult to eat in the restaurant and hence i was charged for the dinner brought to my room even tough it was a part of my package. Overall it was a horrible experience

Although we had read some bad reviews on Sealord Hotel, we decided to go ahead and stay whatever. The momemt we entered the room provided, we were like "wow". Those reviews may have been written long ago. Our executive room was completely renovated, 22 feet x 14 ft very spacious, with a spacious toilet and shower facility attached. Everything was neat, central airconditioning which worked very well, with an ancient voltas lever switch. The bed was massive and we never felt cramped in the room for once. We will certainly recommend those on a medium budget to go for it as it is excellent value for money.

The hotel was good for the money. But hotel staff was little cunning in charging me extra for the child accompanying me even though i had already paid for the extra child while booking. When i showed them reservation receipt, then only they were satisfied.

Hotel is located on a very crowded place but very near to lake. Provides easy access to transportation. Cochin sightseeing is very cheap in the nearby jetty boat cruises (150 bucks per head). Also you can enjoy the speed boat for around 600 bucks. But the interior of the hotel is very average and so is the food. Check your bed sheets and towels for stains and other things.

The hotel needs some renovation but offers good value for money. The rooms are big but look tired. Staff is helpful and polite. The location is on a busy street and hotel front is very crowded.

The said hotel I had stayed at, is at an excellent location from both business and tourist point of view. The services were prompt and exemplary. The room however needed a coat of paint for it's 3 star rating. The sanitary fittings were not exactly fault free with the basin not secured. Hot water was not available 24 hours, but, on the whole the experience was quite satisfying.

My family of four spent a night in this hotel which is located right next to Ernakulams marine drive. Great value for money, good service and definitely worth every rupee. We are definitely going back during our next trip to Kochi, which we do quite often.

This is the second time we have stayed at Sealord. The services were excellent, food was exceptional and rooms were good. The only drawback was in the toilets. There should be water hoses near the closets and the taps were not functioning properly. But overall it was an excellent experience staying at Sealord as the staff was very courteous and rooms were good and food was excellent.
