Good rooms. Good service & excellent breakfast.

The hotel is ideally located for business in Ahmedabad. The view of the new beach front under construction is excellent. The hotel is quite old and does need some renovation, however the service is great, as is the breakfast and the restaurant. The night time dhaba put up in the lawn with a buffet dinner looked very interesting too. Overall, if you are looking for a value for money hotel this is a good choice.

The hotel is being renovated, which means some floors are already with new furnishings and also the rooms display new toilets and equipments. Second time I am staying and they improved quite significantly. Location is not bad. Breakfast is plentiful.

The hotel was good but the attitude of the staff towards us was very poor.We were kept waiting at reception for a longer time for check in.Secondly i had booked a double bed room as my colleague was about to join me in ahmedabad.Instead of booking a bigger room i was charged Rs. 1000/- per day for my colleague.

Hotel front desk does not take cognisance of the customer requests such as air port pick-up was not organised; in spite of emails sent to them. This leads to waste of time and irritation.

Although the surroundings are very shabby with slums in the backyard and view of a dirty water drain in the disguise of a river,the hotel staff efficiently make up for the shortcomings by their impeccable services and Gujrati food, no nonsense charm. Their helpful attitude and ready to serve you manner speaks of highly about their training.The only blot is the situation of the hotel[which they can not help],and the distance from the airport which takes close to half an hour to reach there in day time. The food ,the laundry services are excellent.

This is a good hotel to stay, but the river view part is not so developed which distract the morning river view.

Overall a good experience. The room was very small.

It was mentioned that I would get complimentary cake, Box of Fruits and some others. We chased many times and they kept saying they will look into it. We did not get it. Felt cheated. The service was very poor. Even the complimentary drop to airport was a lot of confusion which almost did not happen but to the intervention of a Training Manager Rajat who was very good. Horrible service and I feel cheated. I could have booked a hotel which was cheaper but the complimentary benefits looked good.

Just not worth it really.
