Sandalwood Hotel & Retreat Reviews, Goa

We stayed in the penthouse. Got two bedrooms, 2 bath, living room, eating area kitchenette with fridge and a balcony facing the pool. I highly recommend this hotel and its' staff really do their very best to accommodate all your needs, we highly recommend you consider Sandalwood!

Hotel services are good but their food is not enjoyable.

Nice decent hotel and worth the price paid. Hotel is at a location not very far from happening north Goa and also near to Panaji. However, reachability is a big issue. Hotel does not provide free transport to the nearest public transport, nor you can reach yourself. So you will have to hire a bike or car as soon as get in to Goa or you will have to walk till main road.

1. Reception and response is very poor. 2. No seriousness on thier jobs. 3. Travel desk and hotel , doubt of concern that really they having connectivity . 4. Food is not worth for the value. 5. Simply they are looting in case of food and cab arrangements. 6 Since the location is very interior , you are forced to take a cab to come out. 7. Senior and experianced people should be at reception not kids who make the fun of customers. 8.No coordiality and attentiveness.

It is ok, didn't like the swimming pool and the beach near the resort is not that nice either.

We checked in with less expectations. But at the end of our 6th morning we felt sad to leave the hotel. We loved the atmosphere in the hotel and it was being at home experience. Our two sons were so relaxed and playing around the entire surroundings as if it was their home. What can we say about the staff. Whenever we approached them for anything they were very spontaneous in the way they helped us out. The food was always good and when our children needed non-spicy food, they obligied instantly. The entire hotel staff made a point to make us feel at home.

Its good value for money.
