The hotel-persons are very friendly and supportive. Standard of room was just OK and no enough hot water from the geyser. I felt very cold while taking a shower. Besides, there is no proper kitchen to provide food. So overall it was no value for money.

Nice hotel

This hotel is for nature lover who want to stay in peace. I enjoyed the stay completely!

The room which was provided to me was cottage type and nice to stay with family. The room was big with AC, TV and geyser. The room was fully furnished, neat and clean. The hotel-persons are very friendly and supportive, and behaviour was very pleasant. We relaxed and enjoyed the greenery within the hotel premises. We also enjoyed the homely atmosphere, very testy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Found limited items to eat in the menu card and prior order (at least 1-2 hrs.) is required for dinner / lunch.

Hotel location was out of city and standard of room was not good, So overall it was no value for money.

Hotel location is good but far away from Lake & main market. Hotel services are limited and food choice are very limited. Room condition is good. Only 2 AC rooms in the hotel. Hotel staff is very limited. Room service is not so good. Food and water are very costly. Rs.20 for Bisleri water and Rs.100 kadhi & kichdi. Every day spent Rs.50 one way hotel to lake or hotel to market. It's not like hotel or resort, it's like guest house.

Hotel Rising Sun Retreat environment is very natural and condition is good. Staff is very homely but only thing is there is no restaurant so you have limited choice in food. Of course there is home made food available so you will enjoy a real home food taste if you like. Location of hotel is very comfortable. They have devloped a good natural park and very good peaceful atmosphere around the area. Bird watching with their voice music and good flower smell is a good nature experience.

The hotel is at a great location, about half a kilometer away from the main market. It is surrounded by greenery on all sides and provides a great view, at least in the weather that was there when we visited it on 15th August weekend. It has basic but clean rooms with very friendly staff. They offer very good/prompt room service as well as great food, though one has to give an order at least an hour earlier as food is cooked on order basis. Taxi/jeeps are easily available for the main market/Nakki Lake and the charges are Rs. 50 for one way trip to the market for the jeep (non-air conditioned) which can accommodate 6-8 persons comfortably. The hotel staff can call a taxi which arrived in 5-10 minutes. Overall, very satisfied with the hotel service and am happy that I booked at Rising Sun Retreat. It's value for money. The above rating is keeping in mind that it is a single star hotel.
