No hospitality, very casual approach, least bothered about guest convenience.

Although the location is good but far from Shimla (19 km) taxi charges Rs 700 which is absurd. Unhygienic and tasteless food. You order any dish but the gravy tastes same for all. Balcony in every room but door should be kept closed due to monkey menace. Only good thing is the valley view from the rooms

Thanks to Make My Trip for a perfect vacation in a reasonable budget. The Hotel was extremely well maintained and in a peaceful location with great service.

The hotel location is good, you can enjoy the scenic beauty of the valley. The biggest pitfalls that force me to write a "NO RECOMMENDATION" for this hotel are: 1. Total 'absence' of a service attitude of staff - very poor response to basic hotel services. I had to tow my luggage throughout my stay. No response from staff. Not recommended for people looking for 'decent' services like 'carrying luggage to and fro from your room', 'serving dishes mentioned in the hotel's menu', 'neat and clean utensils' etc. 2. There is no lift and you have to climb 120 steps (around 80 to reach the hotel reception) to reach the hotel room from the entrance - Not recommended for people having health issues. 3. Hotel furniture is old and 'crumbling' - 20 yrs old furniture (as told by staff). I was just about to fall from a dining chair as the back-rest was loosely held to the main frame - Not recommended for people who do not want to end up injured fatally on a vacation trip.

Hotel is very far from Shimla. If you dont mind spending a bomb on cabs then it is right place. Location is awesome excepting the distance and accessability. Never ask for transport arrangement from Hotel. They dont give you cheap and they talk about Cab Unions when you try and get cab from outside. Good place to say for day or two. Be careful about the cab rates.

This is a well maintained resort in an excellent location. You can see the complete Himalayan range from your window without stepping out of your bed!! Food is good though you have relatively fewer options to choose from. The hotel staff is warm and cordial. If you want tea at six in the morning then forget it...the room service starts at 7am so you have to watch the sun rising without a cup of tea!! Nice place to stay for nature lovers and people who want a break from the metro environment!!
