Overall Hotel Rating:
Overall, it was a satisfying experience staying at Ramada, Amritsar.
The few improvements that came to my mind are :-
1) Housekeeping should know how many guests are staying at the hotel & accordingly, complimentary items like water bottles, tea/coffee sachets should be replenished.
2) Your travel desk needs improvement. Amritsar visit is incomplete without visit to Wagah Border. Your travel desk should guide & help nicely.
Needless to mention, that I will prefer Ramada, Amritsar for my future stays as well and would like to test Ramada facilities in other cities as well.

Good team at front desk, easy check in and welcoming people.

Had booked for extra bed in advance but was given a low quality mattress on a folding cot which was not comfortable at all. The hotel staff was selectively courteous (groveling in front of foreigners reflecting the same old slave mentality). The house keeping staff had to be sent repeated reminders to replenish the consumables. The location was not good but surrounded by dingy localities and wholesale shops.

Stayed from 30 Sept - 3 Oct. 2014. It has an excellent location, very courteous staff. Excellent breakfast menu & spread! However, Brushing/ vacuuming over room carpets in required to be checked by some senior staff as Housekeeping staff only replenishes tea/coffee tray, toiletries and mops the toilets only. So in the evening, one finds stuff on the multi coloured carpet!
