Rajputana Resort, Udaipur

Located in a peaceful area surrounded by trees, and yet near the city centre, The Rajputana Resort is beautiful and big. Built in a traditional Rajasthani style, it has domes, turrets and jharokhas all painted red, peppered through the rolling lawns and fountains. The hotel's by line is 'the royal retreat' and it lives up to the name.

Situated at the peaceful area of Hiran Magri, the airport is 20 km from here, the bus stand 3 km and the railway station 2 km away.

Room Amenities
Rajputana Resort has 54 rooms - 24 Deluxe rooms, 22 Suites and 8 Tents. The Suites are very large with a king size bed, chaise lounge, and study table. A pretty window seat overlooks the sprawling lawns. The wooden floor and a small crystal chandelier gives the room a luxurious look. Amenities include cable television, study table, min bar (chargeable), direct dial telephone. All the washrooms have bathtubs but a special mention must be made of the state of the art shower panel installed in all the rooms, with all sorts of knobs and controls. The washroom itself is spacious and clean, done in blue and grey. The Deluxe rooms are smaller than the Suites but still very spacious. Amenities include cable television, mini bar (chargeable), intercom, a divan with bolsters besides the double bed, a large mirror, chairs and a cupboard. There is seating arrangement in the corridor outside overlooking the lawns. The washrooms do not have a shower panel but a bath tub and all amenities present in Suite washrooms.

The tents are propped up on cement platforms that also work as a sit-out. Extremely spacious and comfortable, the tents have a gleaming, tiled floor and all amenities of Deluxe rooms. The washroom is contemporary and large, with a Jacuzzi-style bathtub.

Dining
The multi cuisine restaurant can accommodate approximately 50 people and has Rajasthani paintings on its walls. Restaurant timings are from 6 am to 10:30 pm.
