I wouldnt recommend considering the services provided did not have basics like towels in the bathroom or mats on the floors. It makes the stay in the room for more than a day really messy. The rooms were expected to be dingy but the lack of restaurant or breakfast facilities and the lack of cleanliness around was little disappointing.

Well I made my booking in the hotel based on the reviews of people who have stayed there earlier and I found the hotel very clean and tidy. Besides it is well maintained despite being a heritage hotel. The hotel staffs were very friendly and cooperative. They were ready to help us in whatever way they could. The quality of food provided in the hotel was very good and one thing which was quite endearing to me was the helping nature of the hotel staffs coz there were no room services for lunch and dinner except tea and coffee but on my request they provided dinner and breakfast in the room because I have little kids with me. So, it was quite helpful to me. The room was very clean and maintained superbly so worth spending my bucks over there and I will go there when I visit next time.

Hotel Raj Palace was a good value for the money paid and offers a location at the heart of old city. Though reaching the hotel might get difficult through the lanes, it gets addressed when every major tourist destination becomes just a walk away.

Dirty, no service, charge for late check out even though hotel is clearly empty.

Not value for money

The overall experience was very good. The Hotel in-charge was very kind enough to provide us an early check in and was very magnanimous in offering a late checkout. He was also very helpful in guiding us properly for Sight Seeing.
