Radisson GRT is a 5 star luxury business class hotel paying attention to the minute details you would want in order to be treated like royalty. On entering the hotel, the lobby is an elegant area with a sophisticated air about the place. Soft and soothing instrumental music plays in the background on a regular basis. The floor in the lobby is black and white patterned marble and the walls are adorned with different paintings in different areas. The seating area is furnished with comfortable sofas to lounge on when checking in or out or waiting for someone. The area is carpeted with a red carpet. A beautiful large chandelier hangs above.

The seating area also has a plasma television and a central showcase displaying gold jewellery by the GRT group. There is also a small aquarium and waterfall in the lobby area that is dotted with plants at regular intervals. A small gift shop can be visited wherein you can purchase artifacts, silks, sculptures, paintings, toys and board games and a wide variety of other things. There is also a travel desk with a recharge zone to charge your mobile phones.

Dining
Interconnected to the lobby is the Garden Cafe, a 24 hour coffee shop. It is a quaint dining area, which overlooks the swimming pool and is furnished with wrought iron chairs with comfortable cushions on the seats as creepers hang from the ceiling above. The coffee shop often hosts food festivals wherein the entire theme of the cafe is set up according to the area where the food is from. Here, a breakfast and lunch buffet is served with the breakfast time being from 7:00 to 10:30 am and lunch from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. An a la carte menu is available throughout the day and night. It is a multi cuisine cafe serving Continental, India, Chinese and South Indian food.

Next to the Cafe is the Gallop Bar which has dim lighting and dark wood interiors. The bar opens from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm on weekends and 2:00 to 11:00 on weekdays. It is a well known pub and is visited by many especially over the weekend. Here you can wine and dine amidst an English Polo Club ambience.

The ground floor of the hotel also is home to the Great Kebab Factory, one of the signature restaurants of the Radisson properties. The restaurant opens for lunch on weekends and dinner on all days and has a fixed menu for the guests. It is an Indian cuisine restaurant. The interiors are furnished as a posh version of a factory with the cutlery and crockery taking on the look of tools and machines. The staff in the restaurant is dressed in overalls like they would be in a factory set up.

Rooms
The hotel has a total of a 101 rooms with the categories ranging from Standard rooms, Club rooms and Suites. There are 7 Suites, 28 Club rooms and the rest are Standard rooms. The Standard rooms in the hotel all have marble flooring whereas the Club rooms and suites are furnished with wood flooring. All rooms have a mini safe and the Club and Suites have a safe big enough to hold your laptop as well. The Club and Suites also provide the guests with a nightgown. The rooms are tastefully furnished and offer maximum comfort. All rooms have attached bathrooms with bathtubs and offer various luxuries like phones in the bathrooms, hair dryers, shaving plug and magnifying mirrors.

All the beds have goose feather pillows imported from China. There are also four complimentary bottles of Pondicherry mineral water. Apart from this, all the rooms have the basic facilities and amenities available and also have a DVD player and an LCD television, which the Standard rooms do not have. The Standard rooms only have a television and they can rent a DVD player at a charge.

Hotel Facilities
The complimentary guest services for all the guests are airport hotel airport transfers, buffet breakfast at Garden Cafe from 7:00 am to 10:00 am, high speed Wi-Fi internet connectivity in rooms and public areas and the use of Radiance Wellness Centre and swimming pool.

Conferences & Banquets
The hotel also has two interconnected conference halls with a collapsible partition which can accommodate 70-80 people at a time. The other three conference halls are Royal Court 1, 2 and 3, which are interconnected as well and can accommodate a total of 200 people when used together. There is also a state of the art business centre with a Board Room that seat 12 people and the charges include the usage of the board room for 9 hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, a white projector screen, white board with markers, pads and pencils, free wireless internet access, 6 bottles of mineral water, 2 servings of coffee/ tea with cookies. There is another Meeting Room which can seat 6 people and has the same facilities as the board room with 3 bottles of mineral water and no projector screen. The Business Centre has comprehensive audio-visual facilities and tele-video conferencing.

There is also the Radiance Wellness Centre with everything to make you look and feel your best. They offer Senor and Senorita, separate parlours for men and women, a spacious gymnasium with imported state of the art equipments, sauna, and steam and Jacuzzi facilities. Besides this, there is a swimming pool and gymnasium, which is open for 24 hours.

The hotel is situated in close proximity to the Chennai airport, only 3 kilometres away. It is situated on the outskirts of the city on G.S.T. Road and is free of city traffic and noise. The railway station and main bus stand is situated around a 45 minute drive from the hotel.
