Preethi Palace Reviews, Ooty

I checked in on the 14th of Feb. I was allotted a room on the 5th Floor, there is no lift from the ground floor, you need to take the stairs till the second floor and then take a lift to reach higher floors. I would rate the hotel average as far as cleanliness is concerned. There was a colour TV in the room but it was a defective one, everything that showed up on the screen was purple in colour. Room service is not that prompt as there are not many attendants. Room cleanliness is okay, but again you have to make sure that the staff comes and cleans the room. Location wise the hotel is okay, since its a small hill station, location doesn't really make much of a difference. Considering the rent, its ok for night stay.

The hotel is situated in the main city about 2 kms from bus or railway station, the hotel is meant for economical class, hotel management offers variety of services like local trip, bus reservation etc which are essential for travelers overall I am satisfied with the service.

Hotel team was not given additional though it was already charged. Hotel team was not at all supportive.

Hotel is good but room conditions need to be improve. Many of the rooms have Indian toilets, which should be converted into western.

food is bit costly

Preethi Palace needs an improvement in terms of room condition. ItÂ’s dusty and none of the lights work properly. ItÂ’s sad that I paid for a suite and never looked like one. ItÂ’s really bad.

Best Location. Hotel rooms are good & neat. But daily cleaning of rooms is required when guest are staying for more than 1 days which is being done only after that guest leaves the room.

The hotel is good only for night stay. If your looking for a budget hotel then its go for it. No proper room service. Food was ok but can have only once for the day.
