Park Plaza Reviews, Ludhiana

While visiting Ludhiana from California for a family wedding we decided to stay in a hotel instead of staying with family. Park Plaza was a very pleasant surprise. The room we first got was quite noisy as it was next to an elevator which was being repaired. Next morning when I mentioned it to the front desk, Mr. Bharti, the Front Office Manager promptly moved us a much quiter and upgraded room. Food was excellent. My wife has special needs for food. Everybody in the restaurant bent over backwards to accommodate her needs. Some dishes that were not on the menu were especially cooked for her. Dinesh and his staff at the restaurant were superb. The best surprise was the hotel Gym. Unlike any other hotel GYM, it is well equipped and staffed with trainers. Overall, Park Plaza matched any good city hotel in California. We had planned to stay there 5 nights, we ended up staying 8. Next time in Ludhiana, we are staying there again.

The room washroom could be cleaner. The room service always forgot to send serving spoons for the dishes.

Nice hotel.

The hotel is comparable to any 3 star hotel of metros like Delhi, Mumbai... The services & amenities were good in the hotel, there are 2 restaurants, 1 pub & a coffee shop. The bathroom though was a disappointment, the fittings were too old. But overall a good hotel, food is good & the rooms are comfortable.

True value for money with top ratings on each score...totally.

The hotel is well located. The staff tries to be helpful but needs a lot of training.
