Good location nice hotel.

Hotel Paradise Inn cheated us. I traveled all the way to the Hotel Paradise Inn - in an isolated place - only to be told that they do not have room available since there was a block from the tourists. This they should have informed me prior or should not have taken my booking. They offered me a room in their sister concern hotel - The Paradise which is located in the main market. Just the location was good but filthy rooms with bad facility. Similar rooms in adjoining hotels were available for half the rate they charged from me. Very bad experience.

I reached the hotel on 07 May 11 and was immediately put off when I found the toilet seat had stains. On calling the housekeeping I was told that it was not such a big issue and that i was reacting very strongly to it. There were two windows in the bathroom one of which was covered very shabbily with a piece of cloth (I have taken a photograph of the same) and the other window was left uncovered flouting the basic norms of privacy. The room, too, had not been cleaned as in there were biscuit crumbs on the table and the drawer which were not cleaned even after these were specifically pointed to the hotel's housekeeping. The restaurant was ill equipped as they served only tawa chapati and no sweet dish. (in fact the cook refused to make lachha parantha). I was also reufsed room service for dinner and when asked as to the reason I was told that there was a 10% extra charge. (I still did not understand as to why I was told that the service is not available). I am basically very put off
