Palace Hotel- Bikaner House Reviews, Mount Abu

Palace Hotel is a lovely restored mansion owned by the family of the former Maharajah of Bikaner. The grounds and the estate are lovely and in good condition, as is the main house. The rooms are absolutely enormous, which is such a pleasing change from the usual fare. The service has a colonial feel to it, which means it isn't blisteringly quick. But the staff is polite and eager to help. The room aircon wasn't working, though, and they weren't able to fix it. They did, however, offer to change our suite. The dinner didn't look great so we ate out but breakfast was very good. The location is superb - right next to the Dilwara temples - which are surely the highlight of any trip to Abu. All in all, a lovely hotel in a rather unlovely hill station.

Good hotel

Had a very comfortable stay. The room is well appointed with a breathtaking view of hillocks far away & in the midst of a beautiful garden. I have rarely seen such helpful staff in suggesting places to see. The staff also includes the watchman at the gate.

The hotel is damn good. Value for money, very huge rooms and good ambience. Reception people are little rude, but overall a good stay.

The Palace Hotel is part of Bikaner House. ItÂ’s an old and big palace converted into a hotel. They have 3 types of rooms, Deluxe / Super Deluxe / Executive Suite. Cons : 1) Since the Palace is quite old, the furniture and room fittings in washroom are also old. And not renovated. 2) Due to less rain in the Mount Abu Area, bath tub is not allowed to use by hotel to save water. Pros : 1) Food is excellent in the hotel for all 3 meals, specially the breakfast. 2) The room service staff was very courteous 3) The hotel offers free internet access in the hotel lobby. 4) The hotel surroundings is nice and calm and very clean. ItÂ’s worth spending one evening around the hotel. I recommend this hotel for people who want to relax and enjoy the food. This is one of the best hotels in Mount Abu in terms of luxury and food.

The hotel rooms were nice but the location of the hotel was not that good. Also the food in the hotel was not good and value for money. The rooms of hotel were huge and had all the facilities. Overall it was a nice stay.

I liked the hotel. The food was excellent. The rooms were beautiful but, the service was late. In short,the trip was excellent.
