OMR Guest House Reviews, Chennai

I have stayed at OMR guest house for about 5 times till now every time on official work. This is near the prime location of many IT companies and offers what we need. Not much food options though but completely value for money.

Hotel is good. Its very close to most of teh IT companies and is also close to teh airport. Good enough food and teh rooms and toilets are clean and safe. Worth the money

Hotel is Ok. Not very good and not very bad. The support staff needs a bit of training as they may irritate you with their foolish acts sometimes.

Everything is alright.

Rooms are good. But only the room service is bad.

Mainly value for money. OK service. Electricity kept switching off/on in regular intervals in the evening unto late night. There was backup but not for the air-conditioner. Convenient to find, on the main road. But far from the airport.

An unpleasant incident happened in the hotel when the geyser in the washroom burst. It was a scary incident. The hotel management provided me another room and asked for apology.

One of the worst experiences in a hotel. The air-conditioner kept switching on and off since it was connected through a voltage stabilizer. This made the Chennai heat unbearable. The rooms had dirty mats outside the washroom and the entrance. The wardrobe would not open fully since it would was blocked by the bed. The room was right next to the kitchen/reception. This ensured continuous noise during the day & night. Considering the fact that I was studying in the room since I had gone to Chennai for my exams. Never ever go to this place. They have a few rooms in an apartment. Not really a hotel.

Worst hotel ever, tiny room, they lock you inside in the night.
