Ohri's Banjara Reviews, Hyderabad

The hotel is in Banjara hills one of the prime localities, with good facilities. The staff are courteous and helpful, a pleasure to deal with. The rooms are neat and clean. In fact one of the largest rooms I've seen in hotels. It has a TV, a sofa and a study table too. The flooring is wooden and trendy. The air conditioning works absolutely fine. The washrooms are clean with a dial and overhead shower. They do provide towels and washroom items like soaps etc. For the prize I paid on Make my trip it is a steal ! One more important aspect of this hotel are the restaurants, they have about 4 restaurants of different kinds and food is really good ! In fact it is one of the better restaurants in this locality. The locality is safe and there are ample parking facilities. So overall it is was a good experience, even though my stay was short !

The Ohri Banjara is true value for money! I was amazed at the excellent maintenance of the large spacious guest room! Certainly worth every paisa paid for it and much more. A true 5-star experience at 3 star prices! I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to all those visiting Hyderabad on business trips.

The Hotel offers full value for money and is easily one of the best 3 star options to stay in Hederabad. The hotel is very trendy in looks simply because of the livelyness which is created by the 4 Restaurants it has. Each one of them provide excellent food and ambience. Serengeti Restaurant for me stood out in terms of ambience. The location is one of the most Posh areas of Hydearabad. The rooms are clean, spacious and has a lot of crafty wood work along with the wooden flooring. I wrote this point because the interior designing matters a lot to me. Although there are some minor issues like: They can replace the round television sets by the LCD/LED sets which would enhance the beauty and wood work of the room (A room of such quality deserved an LCD/LED television). Also the coffee maker was a traditional one, but in all I would definitely recommend this property. The discounted Price I got at makemytrip booking flight+hotels together was an additional bonus and simply unbeatable.

Poor Service

The hotel was very nice, and even though there are a number of restaurants below the hotel, there is not very much street noise. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. However, the internet wasn't working during my entire stay, and for some reason I was unable to change the AC setting in my room. I called the front desk and they immediately sent someone to fix it up, but it was still not fixed. Also, there was a loud noise that was reoccurring as I was trying to go to sleep. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel was good. It would have been a pretty decent place and I would have recommended it if it was cheaper. For that price, I expected better.
