A true mountain lodge. Near civilization, but far enough to be unsullied and undisturbed. Exotic birds in psychedelic colours dip in and out of the greenery here. Rustic living in cottages, nestled in the Himalayan haven. Gravelly paths run down the slopes and you can lounge on a chair overlooking the vista of mountains and forests. Recharge your batteries as clouds flow in through the windows and the smell of pine clears your head.

USP: For the true naturist, this is bird-watching paradise.
Pangot is 15 km away from Nainital and the drive takes about 25 minutes.

Air: The nearest airport is Pantnagar. However, fights are not operational at present.

Rail:
Nearest railhead is Kathgodam, two hours away. There is an overnight train from the Old Delhi Railway station to Kathgodam. Taxis and buses ply in plenty towards Nainital and you can hire a taxi to take you to Pangot from there.

Road:
Taxis and buses are regularly available from Delhi to go to Nainital. The drive from Delhi to Nainital takes about eight and a half hours. The route is via Noida, Hapur, Muradabad, Rudrapur, Hadwani and Kathgoadam, if you come via Kathgodam and via Noida, Hapur, Muradabad, Kashipur, Ramnagar if you come via Corbett. Once you reach Nainital, proceed to Barapathar from where a turn leads you to Pangot, passing Snow View Point and Kilbury. Once at Pangot, the resort is a five-minute walk through the terrace fields; the staff will help with the luggage.

Lammergeier, Himalayan griffon, blue-winged minla, spotted and slaty-backed forktail, rufous-bellied woodpecker, rufous-bellied niltava – if these words are making sense, then this resort is the place for you. The area has over 150 varieties of birds. The resort is located in the wilderness of the village of Pangot. Numerous streams brush past it and the area is rich in diverse flora and also animals such as leopard, yellow-throated Himalayan martins, Himalayan palm civet, ghoral, barking deer, sambhar and so on.
