Oberoi Wildflower Hall, Shimla

The Wildflower Hall is located in Mashobra in the Himalayas at a height of 8,250 feet. The Resort is located about 25-35 kilometres from Jubbarhati Airport and 15 kilometres from Shimla Town, where the main bus station is present. It is a 45 minute drive through forested hills from Shimla.



The Wildflower Hall was once the residence of the British Commander-in-Chief, Lord Kitchener and is now a luxury Oberoi Resort. Spread across 23 acres of pine and cedar forests, it is a handsome six storey structure and the newly constructed hotel remains true to the spirit of the original bungalow in its external aspect. The interiors of the Resort are luxurious and inviting, with wood panelling, fire places and original works of art creating an aura of old world charm. Nestled in the Himalayas, it is solely geared for the wellness of body, mind and soul.

Hotel Facilities
The hotel offers a range of facilities such as a spa, Jacuzzi, fitness centre, Ayurveda treatments, yoga and swimming pool. Recreational facilities include scenic walks, mountain bicycling and river rafting.

Premier Rooms - Mountain View
These offer breath-taking views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Deluxe Suites
These come with a separate living room with a fire place and an additional guest bathroom. These too offer great views of the surrounding mountains.

Lord Kitchener Suite
In addition to offering spectacular views of the Himalayas, this category features a separate living room with a fireplace and guest bathroom with 2 bedrooms.



All rooms come complete with in-room amenities such as satellite television, DVD player, Wi-Fi connectivity, walk-in closet, electronic safe, direct dial telephone, voice mail, personal bar and 24-hour butler service and separate bathrooms with bathtubs, shower cubicles and deluxe toiletries.

Please Note: As per government regulations, smoking is permitted but only in the confines of your designated bedrooms. Elsewhere, it's not.

Child Policy: Wildflower Hall is located in mountainous terrain. For reasons of safety, it is not suitable for children below 10 years. Therefore, as a policy the hotel does not accept reservations for families travelling with children below 10 years. One child between 10 and 12 years of age can stay in parent?s room without any charge.
