Amazing! Excellent hotel, located only 1 km from Calangute Beach (walk to beach to enjoy the local market). 2 liquor shops around to make you more comfortable with the spirit of Goa :-). Breakfast in just awesome, you can stuff yourself all up but the taste buds still won't give up. Room service is good (rooms cleaned and towels changed every day). We were upgraded to the finest rooms, free of cost. You can also rent bikes here at the best rates (ask for Nandu). Overall I am more than satisfied and highly recommend everyone to stay here.

Neelam The Grand, as the name suggests, is a sophistically made grand hotel near Calangute Beach. The hotel location is marvellous far from the crowd of the nearby market. The hotel is at about 10 minutes walking distance from the Calangute beach and I can assure you personally that you wont feel the pain or tiredness to walk this 10 minutes as the complete route is through the marvellous Goan market. The hotel room in which I stayed was superior and booked through MakeMyTrip in about Rs.5500 approx for 2 days. The room was spacious with AC, attached toilet & bath, a small refrigerator with water bottles, a telephone for room service and a big 51 inches LCD TV. The room had a balcony also and it opened towards the pool. For people who would not like to use AC, there is a ceiling fan also. Bed and linen were clean and of good quality and were changed regularly by the hotel. Also, they had provided basic toiletries in the bathroom along with clean towels. Staff is courteous & helpful.

It was our first anniversary and I wanted it to be good and I am happy to say that it was just pefect! The hotel was very nice, the staff very helping and the service was great. We were allowed to check-in early on request. The room was clean, though I feel it could have been better but no complaints. The best part was when they shifted us to another property of their's near Anjuna on our anniversary day and provided a suite without any additional charges. Thanks to MakeMyTrip for helping me with the arrangements.

The Hotel was far more good beyond my expectations. Great hotel, very close to beach and heart of Calangute. Everything you want is at stone's throw. Recommended not eating in hotel as itÂ’s exorbitantly expensive, including room services. However standard of food is very good. Just keep reminding hotel guys to have your rooms cleaned in time. Housekeeping was the only sore point in the hotel.

The rooms were pretty small and felt little suffocating inside. May be the air circulation is not proper in the air-conditioner. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

First of all, it's a pleasant place to be with your loved ones. We have just come back from a week of pure heaven staying at Neelam's the Grand. They are the perfect hosts and lovely people who will make your stay as easy and stressfree as possible, we loved all the little extra touches ie airport transfers, welcome drink, and even beach towels if needed. The apartments are lovely and clean and very well decorated. We loved having our own space which immediately became our home. The location was superb with the beach being 5 mins away and also the other beaches and hangouts are not far. The only downside to this little corner of heaven was we didn't book a long enough stay.

OK, Hotel all over is very good. I will recommend this as "the grand" value for money. Rooms are nicely built, air conditioning is mind blowing, although bathroom are little small, water pressure in bathroom is low, they must install pressure pumps. Location is very good, near to market place, staff is helpful. They even offered service in night time "on request". Keep it up...

Hotel location is very good, it is very close to Calangute beach which is the main beach there. The room was good with a balcony and big LCD television. Washroom was quite clean and user friendly. Room had a good aesthetic look. Hotel services were quite prompt. Breakfast in the hotel was quite good with lot of choices. We also got some good information about places to visit from the hotel.

Reached hotel little early than we were supposed to be, hotel staff were too obedient in attending us and telling us things. The reception desk has good and efficient people. The other staff also are as good. Like to mention the security guards who were kind enough to help out when asked. Regarding the hotel, very neatly maintained, well staffed. The location of the hotel is the best.

Neelam's The Grand was a very new experience. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable except for the occasional mosquito bites. The Sports Bar was awesome as it had a huge screen to watch matches and even WWE. The dinner was OK in service but the food was delicious. The Ayurvedic Spa was very refreshing. Housekeeping was attending to all your needs...but don't ask the front desk for anything, as they are experts in ignoring questions. On the whole, we were there for 6 days 5 nights...and the trip was awesome as it was GOA...Go Goa!

To start with, the facility I received for the money I paid was fabulous. It was more then the worth I paid. Room was good, spacious and had LCD TV. It was properly cleaned and housekeeping was upto the mark. Hotel is placed just a km from the beach in heavily crowded market place which not only gives you lot of option for shopping but also you can enjoy the beach with full energy.

The hotel is at the best location in Goa, on Calangute Beach. It's very close to the most happening beaches Calangute and Baga in Goa. The services provided by the hotel are upto the standards. I am really happy to choose the hotel for my trip and will choose the same for next trips to Goa also.

Stay at Neelam's The Grand was a fantastic experience for me and my family. Excellent facility with pleasant mannered staff to make the stay very enjoyable. We enjoyed the food and swimming pool. The one day trip to South Goa was however very hectic but did cover several areas of interest including a soothing river cruise. Certainly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience in Goa.

We had major problems with our room it had bed bugs & we could not sleep 1 whole night. Next day when we contacted hotel service, they just sprayed some stuff on the bed during day time & did not change our room. Another issue was they had some massive renovation wrok going on so if you stay in room during day time it was not peaceful. Food was good, hotel staff was very friendly.

The hotel was really great and the stay was very pleasant. Especially the swimming pool was mind blowing. Other services like reataurant, bar, sports room was also good. I also availed the spa where we went for full body massage & gold facial. The entire hotel staff were very polite & humble.

I think it is a good hotel for the price I paid. The rooms are comfortable with all amenities. However, the room service can be improved and especially housekeeping needs to clean the rooms more often. Besides that everything is great.

The hotel provided us with airport pick-up, the facility was available when we landed! so no complaints. the hotel room was good, except that the room provided was facing a location that had the hotel dumpyard, and wastage dump. my room was duly cleaned, periodically, so no complaints there as well. the hotel lift was not working, it took them more than 24 hrs to repair it... that was one botheration... i had asked for an airport drop at a particular time, the drop was duly provided, but the cab was available five minutes after i had asked for it... there were other people included in the drop, resulting in additional 10 minutes for adjusting the luggage. then, the cab had to be re-filled with diesel, for which all the guests had to travel at least 5 kms in direction away from Airport. this could have been taken care of. Otherswise, good experience.

The hotel has an excellent ambiance and is very inviting. The pool side and the trees and seating area is good. We had taken bed and breakfast. Even the breakfast was good. The hospitality of the staff is worth appreciating. However there is a lot of scope for improvement. The hotel has given us a suite which is excellent. They even changed our room from 13 to 24. Moving towards the room, the stairs were very untidy, clothes were strewn all over. The lobby of the suite is too big, and the room too small. The sofa was shabby. A bedcover on the bed would have been appreciated. Room cleaning should be available once 24/7.

The best part about Neelam is that it is located at a very nice and convenient location. ItÂ’s very near to Calangute Beach as well as to the market area. The hotel is well maintained and has a sweet swimming pool.

The hotel was excellent. I was there with my husband to celebrate my birthday. We stayed in Neelam's The Grand for 3 days. Initially, we had booked Club Plaza room but we were upgraded to Suite room due to shortage of rooms in that category. The most cherished place in the entire hotel was the swimming pool, it's really nice and the entire place was just fun loving. Both food and room was also above average. Though the staff were not so co-operative. But I would certainly recommend this hotel to all who want to stay at Calangute. Good choice if you want to hang out...

I booked this room in the off peak season and got it at a good price. I thankfully upgraded to Club Select from the default Club Plaza rooms by paying 2.5K extra for 3 nights. Taking about the rooms/hotel, they are fine and in good shape. Nothing much to complain about. The service was also very good and timely. Now regarding the opportunity part for the hotel, the food. Let me tell you the food sucks here and itÂ’s damn expensive. Once a great cook told me the best way to check if quality ingredients are used while cooking, and thatÂ’s by testing if the bread crumps used in the tomato soup are smelling of used oil. And as soon as I tasted it I knew the food was really bad since the bread crumps were stinking of bad overly used oil. All the food that came later was very bad. Buffet breakfast did not have cornflakes and orange juice. Overall, its fine except if you choose to eat outside the hotel.

Hotel looks big from outside but service was not better. Day 1 was fine but as the stay came to end, service levels were going down. NO hot water for bath even after reminding 3-4 times. Also location is not that near to beach as quoted on your website or as said by hotel guys. The overall experience was okay. I would rate it 3 out of 5.

The hotel is good but it is always to confirm about the amenities in advance. The images in the website are quite different from the actual one. The hotel staff are friendly and well mannered. The food is not that great but the ambience of the hotel is fantastic. When you see the other hotels in the same place you will definitely have a good feeling about Neelam The Grand since it really looks like a hotel and not a Villa turned into some hotel or resort. I would say it was good value for money.

The so called Super Deluxe is just a standard one. For a 3 star hotel the facilities such as tooth paste, slipper bath tub and shower should be provided.

The hotel was okay. But a few things need improvement. Our package was inclusive of a tour provided by the hotel. The tour given was certainly not up to the standard. The guide didnÂ’t speak clearly. The bus was cramped and it was very hot. The tour bus took us to a beach which was really far off. Another thing which really pinched the pocket was the Gala dinner. It was way too expensive and really not worth the money. Another incident which really put a bad taste is when we saw the manager of the hotel having a fight with an irate customer in the hotel lobby. It was certainly not in good taste.

Before booking the hotel, I was bit sceptical. But all my worries got paid off. The hotel and the whole ambience it provided was a memorable experience. Disappointing factors were location of hotel and its swimming pool. It is bit far away from beach. To reach Calangute Beach, one has to walk for around 10 minutes. Swimming pool was not as impressive as it appeared from the pics, credit goes to photographer. All in all.....place to stay. Hotel staff and its hospitality was quite good.

Though rated as 4 star it is no where near even 3 star. Minute details such as provision of hand towels, a couple of glasses in the wash room, comb, foot mat etc were missing. Club Plaza rooms are hopeless> location wise also some of theses rooms are worst than a shanty place.

The USP of this hotel is its location. Calangute Beach is just one KM away and other Best Beaches of Goa are also very near. This compensates all odds against this hotel.

Neelam's The Grand gave what was shown in the video. The entrance of the hotel is quite good and it has a decent swimming pool. The plaza room had a living room and a bedroom. The rooms were good and the living room was spacious. However, the walls though reasonably clean, did have a few spots here and there. There was an LCD TV on the living room, which was a bit of a pleasant surprise, and a normal TV in the bed room- on normal cable- so there were not many channels. The furniture in the room leaves some scope for improvement- still it wasn't that bad. They also give you a mini fridge in the living room. The bathroom was quite good, I must add. However, there is no view from the window and there is no balcony in the plaza room- it is there in other rooms. I have a feeling that this hotel gives varying degrees of services to the type of room booked- though ideally this should not be the case- the quality of services should be the same irrespective of the room booked and the customers should not feel that they are treated differently. The food options on room service are limited and expensive- the quality of food is okay. The restaurant, too, is over-priced. Finally, I must say we were reasonably satisfied with the hotel, though I have a feeling if I had booked the room directly after going to Goa, instead of booking it online, I may have got a better deal. Who knows! There is a lot of money in the unorganized Indian tourism industry and everyone wants to get a piece of the pie.

The location of the Hotel is in prime area of Calangute where access to the beaches / market / best restaurants is very good. The front office staff is extremely courteous and supportive. However, housekeeping standards need to be looked into.

The hotel site states that it is a 4 star hotel which actually is not. The hospitality is not good at all. The staff is rude. The room doesn't consist of drinking water facilities. The house keeping was excellent and the facilities in the room were good. Food also was good. Overall the stay was pleasant in the room but not within the hotel.

There seemed to be a bias at the reception towards foreigners when it came to services. there is no car park for guests and that is a big let down if you are driving to the hotel. the stairways are shabby and stink. the water from the taps smells of rust, use bottled water to rinse your mouth if you are still adamant about staying here. they rate themselves as 3 star. the only 3 star about the hotel is the architecture and the menu rates. the air conditioning inside the bedroom was ok but the one for the living room was only blowing air. the sofa covers in the living room were stinking.

It is appropriate for bachelors but not for family since the pool is always occupied by young guys. Also the B and D blocks are really sad, I had to change one room since nothing there seemed to be working. There is no mini-bar, the kettle provided didn't work, the locker was too small to put anything inside. The positive was the support staff, they were really helpful and helped me make my stay worthwhile.

On the website the hotel looks good, but the hotel is kept in a very bad condition, the bed sheet and pillow cover was dirty, cupboard was so old it didnÂ’t use to shut, there was only one chair in the room and no chair in the balcony so we could not enjoy sitting in the balcony. Food was horrible. One of the receptionists was very unfriendly and mean. The Manager on the other hand tried to get too friendly since we were two girls. On the whole very bad experience.

Hotel location was good and it had a nice facade. But the roomÂ’s maintenance was pathetic. The hotel needs to improve on the cleanliness of rooms and services like housekeeping. The quality of linen and furniture was horrible and needs improvement.

ItÂ’s a perfectly avoidable hotel. It appears good from the outside but once you stay there you realise how much they compromise on quality. Right from the condition of the room, the quality of furniture to the hospitality and efficiency of the staff - the hotel is poor in all major areas. Our room had a window air-conditioner and it was sounding like a generator and it took it a while to cool the room. Worst of all the air-conditioner knocked off late into the night and we had to wait till morning to call in someone to look into it. My son was so scared by the noise of the window air-conditioner he hardly slept the 2 nights we stayed there. My family was not comfortable in the room at all. The breakfast was not all that tasty and didnÂ’t even have a fruit juice which is a basic in any 3-star hotel. There were 2 vegetarian dishes like idli and upma and the 3rd dish was omelette. Only 3 dishes to choose from daily. The hotel staff donÂ’t smile much. The hotel is located close to the sprawling Calangute market but the beach is quite far off.

No-parking nor valet parking to start with, 4 star hotel doesnÂ’t provide newspaper to room, no chairs and table in balcony(sit-out), dressing table missing, no lift-sorry walk up, refrigerator not in right place also empty and for breakfast no continental just eggs. A holiday well spoilt.
